What brands of bicycles do you work on?

We can repair all brands of bicycles.  You do not have to have purchased your bicycle from us for us to repair, adjust, or install parts on your bicycle.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, debit cards, The Trek Card, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

Sorry, we don't accept personal or business checks.

Our legal business name is Big Shoulders Bikes, LLC - d/b/a The Trek Bicycle Store of Mount Pleasant.

What is your return policy?


We stand behind everything we sell. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply return the new, unused item within 30 days and we'll replace it or give you a refund. Any USED Bontrager accessory, part, or article of clothing can be returned within 30 days under the BONTRAGER UNCONDITIONAL COMFORT/PERFORMANCE GUARANTEE for a store credit towards some other item.   Bicycles can be returned within 14 days for refund or 15-30 days for store credit. Special orders or custom bicycles (Project One) are not covered under this return policy and may not be returned or exchanged.  Customer is responsible for any damage to bicycles that they wish to return or exchange.

What are your hours?

We are open Tuesdays - Saturdays from 10am-5pm. Sundays and Mondays we are closed.

Where is a good place to ride?

Mountain bikes: Marrington Plantation

Road bikes: We have several ride maps for all kinds of distances and abilities in our 'Rides and Routes' section.

Do you take trade-ins?

Yes, we accept trade-ins in partnership with Bicycle Blue Book. Visit our trade-in page for more information.

Do you have group rides?

Yes - we have several group rides that ride on different days of the week.  You can get the details for all of our rides under the "Rides & Events" navigation link at the top of any page.
