Program Details

The goal of our NICA sponsorship is to make it easy for student-athletes and coaches to create a WIN-WIN partnership for the season.

Leagues like South Carolina’s High School MTB League fulfill NICA’s mission at the regional level, improving the lives of teens and positively impacting communities by providing a high quality, safe and fun interscholastic mountain bike program based on the principles of strong body, strong mind, strong character, equality, and inclusivity.

The team reforms annually in the spring and we begin practicing in July. The team typically does one skills based practice and one endurance based practice weekly. This is followed by a 5 race season that begins in September and is held at locations around the state.

Discounts on Trek Mountain Bikes

Student-Athletes and Coaches are encouraged to sign up for discounts on a bike for the season. All three of our locations will be accepting applications for the current season as soon as the NICA Pitzone (rider portal) reopens each season in May of any given calendar year

South Carolina High School Cycling League

The South Carolina Interscholastic Cycling League was founded in 2018 as a non-profit (501(c)3) Emergent League of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA). Their vision is to improve the lives of South Carolina’s youth and communities through cycling. The training season starts annually in July, followed by a five race series that starts in September.   We also have many other opportunities to get involved too!
