We utilize Silca's ultimate chain waxing system at all three of our stores so your bike will be ready-to-roll with the cleanest, quietest and most efficient drivetrain possible. We're offering the service in a way that's just right for you: self-install, drivetrain clean, or as a service package add-on.

Get Started

It all starts with having a clean drivetrain....like immaculate, bare metal clean. Once clean, we follow Silca Chain Waxing System and protocols using their Secret Chain Blend Hot Melt Wax to properly coat the chain.

Keep Going

It is important to know that cure time for wax is 12-24 hours so we recommend two fundamental changes to your at-home routine so your riding experience is the smooth and uninterrupted. 

  1. Keep a waxed backup chain on hand to swap when out the chain gets noisy. Bring us your used chain and we'll clean and reapply.
  2. Also for a noisy chain, you can also apply Silca's Super Secret Chain Lube and give it 12 hours to set before your next ride to extend the life of the wax coating before bringing it back in.

We'll remove and ultrasonically clean your chain, cassette, chainrings, and rear derailleur. Then we'll wax your original or new chain and put it all back together.
